We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Development Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of innovative training and development programs within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in content development, instructional design, and human resources management, with the ability to drive change management initiatives and enhance employee engagement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence organizational growth through effective program management, leveraging tools such as Workday, LMS platforms, SharePoint, and HRIS systems. The Development Manager will serve as a key leader in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Duties
- Develop comprehensive training content utilizing instructional design principles and tools like Adobe Captivate and LMS platforms.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of training programs, including planning, execution, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Lead change management initiatives to support organizational transformation and ensure smooth adoption of new processes or systems.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to identify training needs through data collection, research, and employee feedback.
- Oversee the integration of HRIS systems such as Workday to streamline employee data management and reporting.
- Design engaging presentations and facilitate public speaking sessions to communicate program objectives effectively.
- Coordinate with recruiting teams to develop onboarding programs that enhance new employee orientation experiences.
- Utilize SharePoint and Salesforce for project documentation, tracking progress, and maintaining stakeholder communication.
- Conduct classroom training sessions or virtual webinars to support human resources initiatives like employee relations, talent development, and HR compliance.
- Monitor program effectiveness through metrics analysis and adjust strategies accordingly to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in content development, instructional design, or related fields within human resources or training & development roles.
- Strong knowledge of Workday, LMS platforms, SharePoint, Salesforce, Adobe Captivate, and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and facilitate engaging training sessions.
- Demonstrated expertise in change management strategies and program management methodologies.
- Background in teaching or classroom experience is preferred; experience in public speaking is highly valued.
- Ability to conduct research, analyze data collection results, and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Experience in recruiting or onboarding processes is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certifications are advantageous. Pay: $102,796.30-$109,165.24 per year
