Position: Assistant Manager, Content Development & Instructional Design

7 years or above of experience in Learning Content Development.

Position Purpose:

The Assistant Manager, Content Development & Instructional Design is a vital producer and a key engine of the content development lifecycle. This role expertly executes the hands-on development of high-quality, engaging digital learning content—including eLearning modules, videos, and simulations by seamlessly applying core instructional design principles and professional visual design techniques. As a collaborative team member, the Assistant Manager actively supports stakeholder projects and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring all deliverables are pedagogically sound, visually compelling, and aligned with brand identity.

Job Description

• Develop and build high-quality, interactive digital learning content-including eLearning modules, video-based microlearning, simulations, and business use cases-by expertly applying instructional design principles and visual design techniques utilizing expert-level proficiency with key software tools.
• Apply foundational instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy) and adult learning principles alongside core visual design principles (e.g., layout, typography, color theory) to create effective, pedagogically sound, and visually engaging learning solutions.
• Ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards, strict brand guidelines, and project objectives, demonstrating meticulous attention to both instructional detail and visual consistency.
• Support the Manager in stakeholder meetings by documenting requirements, providing insights on both instructional and visual design options, and presenting content walkthroughs.
• Proactively collaborate with Global Product Owners and Business Project Managers under guidance to gather source materials, clarify objectives, and incorporate feedback, ensuring alignment with both learning goals and brand identity.
• Manage individual workload effectively, meeting stringent deadlines and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced global environment, balancing creative quality with project timelines.
• Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas for process improvement, innovative learning formats, and visual design enhancements to improve the learner experience.
• Commit to continuous professional development by staying current with industry trends in instructional design, emerging learning technologies, and advancements in graphic design and AI-based tools.
• Provide and receive constructive feedback on both instructional and visual design elementsgracefully to foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
