Who you are: You encompass Oak Valley Health’s core values and live the words of respect, trust, commitment, compassion and courage You are a patient and/or client centered individual who performs at an exemplary standard You are a team player with excellent communication, critical thinking and prioritization skills Closing Date: May 14, 2026 What we are looking for: Complete routine grounds and property inspections and maintenance as assigned Ensure proper equipment maintenance including oil/filter inspection, adjustments to equipment, vehicle, tractors, to improve performance, checking hydraulic and oil levels Completes repairs, office and clinical moves as stated on Maintenance requisitions Completes routine inspections and maintenance as assigned Maintains safety and cleanliness of garage, work area and mechanical areas Perform locksmith duties, repairing doors and troubleshooting automatic door operators Inspect outdoor building condition and take corrective action. (cold patch, curb resurfacing) Maintain courtyards, flower beds, cultivate, fertilize and plant flowers and general clean-up including sweeping and hosing down entrances, sidewalks, stairs and daily pick-up of garbage from outside trash containers Salt and Snow removal of entrances, walkways as needed Create and maintain and install hospital signage as assigned Assist with construction as needed Any other duties as assigned What you bring to the role: A minimum of 3 years of recent and related experience in general maintenance A minimum of 3 years of experience in the use of industrialized grounds equipment coupled with evidence of good working knowledge of mechanical repairs gained through previous related work experience in an industrial setting Valid G driver’s license Horticultural certificate required Previous computer experience; experience with preventative maintenance systems is a requirement Strong customer service skills Evidence of good initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently and as a member of the team Good interpersonal, communication, written and organizational skills Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required Work Schedule: The successful candidate will be required to work shifts based on operational and seasonal needs of the department. Shifts will be a variety of: 6:00am -2:00pm, 7:00am- 3:00pm, 7:30am-3:30pm, 8:00am- 4:00pm, 8:30am- 4:30pm, 9:00am-5:00pm Please note schedules may change due to operational needs.
