Location: Remote (Must be authorized to work in the U.S.)

Travel: Up to 50%

Pay: $73,083 to $82,254 per year + commissions

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Business Development Executive (Sales) with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, especially hospitals and health systems. This role focuses on acquiring new hospital and skilled nursing clients through proactive outreach, relationship building, and contract negotiations. Ideal candidates will be comfortable navigating hospital leadership structures in-person and using sales tools for outreach, automation, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new hospital and healthcare system clients
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person visits
  • Build relationships with decision-makers (e.g., leaders in nursing, administration, and procurement)
  • Lead contract negotiations and finalize agreements
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline and meet monthly/quarterly goals
  • Attend industry conferences and events to generate leads and represent NurseAmerica
  • Use CRM and lead-generation tools to track performance and optimize outreach
  • Collaborate with internal teams (recruiting, marketing, operations) for seamless delivery

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience in the healthcare sector
  • Strong understanding of hospital operations and decision-making processes
  • Proven track record of closing high-value B2B deals in healthcare
  • Experience with nurse staffing, RPO, or workforce solutions preferred
  • Proficiency in tools such as Apollo, Seamless.AI, ZoomInfo, HubSpot/Salesforce, and LinkedIn
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
  • Willing to travel for client meetings and healthcare conferences (25–50%)
