Role Description

The Freight Broker is a full-time hybrid role based in New York, NY, with the flexibility to work partially from home. The role involves managing freight logistics, connecting shippers and carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring seamless transportation operations. Daily tasks include dispatching, maintaining client accounts, liaising with carriers, providing exceptional customer service, and overseeing the end-to-end freight process to achieve timely and efficient deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage operations, including handling carrier and shipper relationships
• Proficiency in Customer Service, ensuring client satisfaction and timely response to inquiries
• Skills in Dispatching and coordinating transportation logistics
• Experience in Account Management, including managing and growing client accounts effectively
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
• Proficiency in industry software and tools is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field is preferred but not required
