Role Description

This full-time, on-site Freight Broker role is based in Edison, NJ. The Freight Broker will facilitate the transportation of goods by working directly with carriers and clients. Daily responsibilities include finding suitable carriers, negotiating rates, coordinating shipments, overseeing dispatching, and managing accounts. The role requires a proactive approach to meeting customer needs and maintaining strong professional relationships.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Freight Brokerage and general Brokerage operations
• Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build and sustain relationships with clients
• Experience in Dispatching for timely and efficient transportation coordination
• Effective Account Management skills for maintaining detailed records and ensuring client satisfaction
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving mindset
• Familiarity with industry-related software and tools is a plus
• Prior experience in freight brokerage or logistics is preferred but not mandatory
