Job Description

As a Senior Analyst at Novartis, you will be responsible for analyzing digital marketing initiatives, deriving insights, and contributing to the strategic direction of marketing efforts. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Using data analytics to understand customer behavior, apply segmentation and predictive methods for improving marketing effectiveness.
  • Analyzing digital marketing performance across various channels such as Email Marketing, Field Digital like iCVA and RTE, and Content Marketing, and providing optimization recommendations.
  • Analyzing complex digital data sets to provide strategic insights for business decisions.
  • Developing and maintaining accurate, actionable reporting and dashboards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data sources.
  • Conducting business process analysis for process improvement and efficiency.
  • Keeping informed on industry trends to advise management on business growth strategies.
  • Tracking and reporting business performance regularly.
  • Communicating data-driven insights to stakeholders and influencing decision-making processes.
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop data-driven solutions.
  • Creating models to automate processes and increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Managing complex data structures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications required for this role include:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • 3-6 years of expertise in using analytics tools such as Qlik, Data IKU, or any ETL tool.
  • Strong skills in SQL, advanced Excel, statistical analysis tools (R, Python), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Excel, Power BI).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze market dynamics, and develop key industry insights.
  • Proficiency in working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Desired qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Analyst in a Business Analyst role.
  • Proficiency in complex SQL, Python, Alteryx, or equivalent data management tools.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in applying advanced analytics methods for data-driven optimizations.
  • Certification or formal training in relevant analytics or business intelligence tools would be an added advantage.
