Northern Health seeks a part-time Nurse Practitioner for the Prince Rupert Public Health Unit. This role focuses on providing primary care to diverse patients and supports community health initiatives. As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll be embedded within a collaborative clinic team in Prince Rupert, British Columbia.
Your responsibilities will include longitudinal primary care and patient attachment through the Provincial Attachment System. You'll also utilize the C‑MOIS Electronic Medical Record for seamless coordination of care, improving outcomes for diverse populations. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care to various patient demographics
- Attach patients as per the Provincial Attachment System
- Utilize EMR for documentation and care workflows
- Collaborate with public health and clinical team members
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and team-based care Requirements:
- Eligible for registration with BCCNM as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong background in primary care practices
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Capable of independent and collaborative work
