Haul Truck Operators
to join our remote mining site team in the Fort McMurray area.
This is your opportunity to join one of the safest and largest contracts in the region.
For this role, NACG offers a combined rate of up to
$48.73/
hour
as well as room for growth!
Where You’ll Be Working
- Site: Suncor
- Schedule: 14x14
, 12 hour shifts (Paid for 12 hours). Days and nights
- Accommodations:
Camp is not provided.
- Transportation: Bussing provided from Fort McMurray to site (before and after shifts)
- Overtime: Provided after 8 hours in a day or 44 hours in a week.

Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
- Operate various makes and models of haul trucks, transporting raw material from the mine for processing (CAT/Komatsu)
- Ensure compliance to all company, client and legislated safety policies, operating standards and procedures
- Using adequate and suitable safety equipment, including PPE
- Reviewing safe work plans/hazard assessment with prior to job commencement
- Complete walk-arounds, safety checks and field level risk assessments and ensure the heavy equipment is running properly
- Report any necessary repairs to the maintenance team or supervisors
- Report all incidents, damage and near misses immediately
Qualifications
What Makes You the ONE
- Minimum of one year experience in a mining atmosphere and
running a rigid frame truck (793 and 830/930 experience is an asset)
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma is considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
