About the Role

We’re looking for a driven Field Sales Manager to lead our growth in high-speed internet and fibre connectivity solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for building, hiring, training, and leading a high-performing door-to-door sales team, while driving subscriptions and revenue across residential markets from the Greater Sudbury Area to Echo Bay, to Manitoulin Island.

You will play a hands-on leadership role in the field, working alongside your team to execute door-to-door sales campaigns, develop talent, and establish scalable processes that support long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard a team of door-to-door sales representatives.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
  • Lead daily field operations, including route planning, territory management, and performance tracking.
  • Conduct regular ride-along’s and provide in-field coaching to improve performance and close rates.
  • Set individual and team sales targets and hold team members accountable to results.
  • Meet and exceed assigned individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for fibre-based residential internet services.
  • Analyze sales metrics, forecast revenue, and report on pipeline health.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Support to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Identify new market opportunities and competitive positioning.
  • Actively participate in door-to-door sales efforts to lead by example and stay connected to the market.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years’ sales experience (telecom/ISP/technology an asset).
  • Proven experience building and managing door-to-door or field sales teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing sales representatives.
  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Ability to lead from the front, including active participation in field sales activities.
  • Strong understanding of connectivity solutions (fibre, broadband, wireless) is a plus.
  • Skilled in CRM usage, reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
