We are hiring an experienced CDP (Chef de Partie) with strong expertise in both Indian street food and Indian main course dishes for our upcoming pure vegetarian restaurant. The candidate should be capable of handling a section independently, ensuring authentic taste, consistency, and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute a wide range of Indian street food items (chaat, tikki, golgappa, pav bhaji, chole bhature, sandwiches, etc.)
Prepare Indian main course dishes including curries, gravies, dals, paneer items, and breads
Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
Handle mise en place and manage assigned kitchen section
Ensure quick service during peak hours
Maintain hygiene and food safety standards
Monitor inventory and minimize wastage
Coordinate with Head Chef and team for smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
3–6 years of experience as CDP or similar role
Strong knowledge of Indian vegetarian cuisine (street food + main course)
Ability to manage high-volume kitchen operations
Experience in multi-cuisine or high-footfall outlets preferred
Good team coordination and time management skills
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)
Shift: 9 hours per day apart from 30 minutes lunch time and 10 minute tea break in morning & evening | 4 offs allowed per month
Preferred
Experience in both casual dining and QSR formats
Knowledge of regional Indian flavors (North Indian, Delhi street food, etc.)
