Job Title: Salesforce Technical Engineering Manager

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Salesforce Engineering Manager with a strong background in complex software development, large-scale Salesforce implementations, and engineering governance.The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and partner IT teams to understand requirements, ensure stable operations, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end engineering governance and multi-track delivery across strategic customer accounts in a multi-vendor service environment.

Key Responsibilities Drive daily project governance across the entire project lifecycle

• Manage risks, issues, and mitigation strategies to ensure delivery stability
• Collaborate with governance bodies, sponsors, and stakeholders to maintain alignment with business outcomes
• Translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions
• Lead and mentor technical teams across design, development, testing, and deployment phases
• Ensure code quality, requirement coverage, and adherence to Salesforce best practices
• Design high-level architecture for current and future state Salesforce solutions
• Conduct weekly/bi-weekly governance meetings, MPRs, and QPRs with stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and support functions
• Manage global stakeholder communication and customer interactionsLeadership & People Management Manage team performance, hiring, onboarding, and resource planning
• Conduct regular 1:1 discussions, performance reviews, and career development planning
• Address customer feedback regarding delivery quality and team performance
• Identify skill gaps and drive upskilling initiatives aligned with account roadmap
• Build leadership pipeline and succession planning within the team
• Drive innovation initiatives including AI-driven automation and solution optimizationRequired Technical Skills

Salesforce Administration, Configuration & Customization Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Apex, Apex Triggers, and Visualforce development
• Salesforce Lightning Framework (Aura, LWC, JavaScript)
• Integration experience using REST APIs, MuleSoft, and external systems
• Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Agentforce
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ / MapMy / similar managed packages or AppExchange toolsGood to Have SCRUM, Salesforce PD2, or Salesforce Architect Certifications
• Basic knowledge of Snowflake, Data Management, and Tableau Analytics
• Experience with managed packages and AppExchange applications
• Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilitiesEducation & Experience
• 10–15+ years of experience in software engineering and large-scale project delivery
