Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with 5 years of hands-on expertise in designing, architecting, and managing cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will have strong ownership capabilities across Azure and AWS operations, a security- first mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including SOC, NOC, and business stakeholders.

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

Cloud Operations and Architecture:

  • Take complete ownership of operational tasks across Azure and AWS environments.
  • Design and architect cloud solutions in alignment with organisational (ABG) standards.
  • Support cloud implementation and setup in collaboration with the support team.
  • Troubleshoot cloud issues for internal users, providing timely resolution.

Security and Compliance:

  • Own all security-related activities and proactively mitigate identified risks.
  • Regularly scan for open ports, weak policies, and non-compliant resources using existing tooling, monitor and act on CNAPP alerts to maintain a healthy security posture.
  • Execute cloud patching activities across AWS and Azure on a scheduled basis, on-premises.

Infrastructure for User Management:

  • Manage and maintain on- premises servers, including network connectivity, OS, and runtime upgrades.
  • Manage and onboard on-premises users to internal systems and tools.
  • Administer GitHub Copilot, including user onboarding, license tracking, inactive user removal, and monitoring.

Billing and Cross-team Coordination:

  • Generate monthly cloud billing reports and investigate anomalies proactively.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for infrastructure and cloud issues and implement fixes.
  • Coordinate with users, SOC, NOC, and the Cloud team to ensure timely resolution of tasks.
  • Technical Expertise Area: Technologies / Skills Cloud Platforms.
  • Azure (Full Stack), AWS (EC2 IAM, VPC, S3 CloudWatch).

Security and Compliance:

  • CNAPP, Security Policies, Open Port Scanning, Cloud.
  • Patching On-Premises Server Management, Network Connectivity, OS & Runtime Upgrades.
  • Monitoring and Billing Cost Anomaly Detection, Monthly Billing Reports, Alert Management, Developer Tools, GitHub Copilot Administration, and User Lifecycle Management.
  • Good to Have: Terraform, Bicep, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, ServiceNow.

  • Education: Graduates only (please ignore pursuing/drop out/12th or 10th pass).

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or cloud engineering roles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing production cloud environments on Azure and/or AWS.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal; ability to clearly articulate technical decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and ownership-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be available to work from our Bengaluru office (Hybrid).

Mandatory Skills:

  • Azure & AWS complete operational ownership of cloud environments.
  • Cloud Architecture designing and architecting solutions aligned to organisational standards.
  • Cloud Security ownership of security posture, CNAPP alerts, open port scanning, and policy compliance.
  • Cloud Patching patch management across AWS and Azure environments.
  • On-Premises Infrastructure managing servers, network connectivity, OS and runtime upgrades, GitHub.
  • Copilot Administration user onboarding, inactive user lifecycle management.
  • Billing and Cost Management, generating monthly billing reports and monitoring for anomalies.
  • Root Cause Analysis, identifying and resolving cloud and infrastructure issues, and cross-team.
  • Collaboration coordinating with SOC, NOC, Cloud, and Support teams.
  • Good to have skills in Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
  • AWS native services: EC2 VPC, IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty. Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
  • Certifications: AZ-104 AZ-305 AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
  • Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow or similar).
