Title: Cell Therapy Technician

Duration: 12 Months contract

Onboarding Requirements

During the first 8–10 weeks of employment, all contractors are required to work, Mon - Fri, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM to complete:

• New Hire Orientation
• Manufacturing Onboarding
• Technical Training
• During training, employees will follow the client's Holiday Schedule.

Upon successful completion of training, employees will be assigned to operational shifts based on departmental needs. Once deployed to a manufacturing shift, employees will be classified as essential personnel and may be required to work during company holidays and shutdown periods.

Shift Schedule:

Shift assignments are based on business needs and will be assigned by department leadership.

Employees may work one of the following schedules:

• Sunday – Wednesday
• Wednesday – Saturday
• Thursday – Sunday

Available Shifts

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM or 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM

Position Overview

The Cell Therapy Technician is responsible for performing and verifying manufacturing activities associated with commercial cell therapy products. The role requires strict adherence to batch records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with: Manufacturing Operations, Materials Management, Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) to execute GMP manufacturing runs and support the production of innovative cancer therapies.

Key Responsibilities

• Successfully troubleshoots processing and equipment issues while communicating said issues to management
• Completes required training assignments to maintain necessary technical skills and knowledge and to ensure compliance with cGMP requirements
• Routinely monitors, cleans, prepares and operates sophisticated automated cell processing, cell expansion and filling equipment in Grade B/C clean rooms. All required PPE and gowning for classified GMP manufacturing areas are provided by the company.
• Finds opportunities for improvement in manufacturing efficiencies and compliance while assisting with investigations/deviations and change controls
• Ability to wear a respirator during use of certain cleaning chemicals

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years related experience with High School Diploma
• 0+ years related experience with Associate’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cGMP manufacturing environments
• Experience with cell therapy, biologics, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Familiarity with cleanroom operations and aseptic processing
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
