They bridge the gap between initial product design and final execution by minimizing waste, troubleshooting equipment issues, and upholding quality standards.Core ResponsibilitiesProcess Optimization: Develop, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from inception through to start-up and ongoing daily operations.Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting: Establish quality standards for machinery and products, perform routine inspections, and quickly troubleshoot any mechanical or process issues to reduce downtime.Cost & Waste Reduction: Implement lean manufacturing techniques to eliminate waste, improve cycle times, and maximize profitability.Workflow Planning: Draw up production schedules, monitor inventory, and ensure production speed aligns with market demands.Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, identify unsafe practices, and ensure the factory floor remains a hazard-free environment.Key QualificationsEducation: A Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.Technical Skills: Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software, understanding of PLC systems, and familiarity with ERP/MRP software.Analytical Thinking: Strong capability in analyzing production metrics, forecasting, and solving complex problems under tight deadlines.Essential Soft SkillsStrong leadership and team-management skills to coordinate between operators, vendors, and upper management.Excellent written and verbal communication for reporting and cross-departmental collaboration.
