Lab Assistant (Physics, Biology, Chemistry & Composite Labs)

A Lab Assistant supports the smooth functioning of a laboratory by assisting teachers, students, with experiments, equipment maintenance, and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical sessions
• Assist teachers/students during laboratory experiments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab
• Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals and equipment
• Keep accurate records of inventory and laboratory activities
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with lab protocols
• Dispose of waste materials safely
• Perform basic maintenance of laboratory instruments
• Report damaged equipment or shortages to the concerned authority

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills

Educational Qualification:
