Video Editor & Videographer for MyMealAid
MyMealAid is looking for a creative and motivated Volunteer Video Editor & Videographer to support our growing content team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys filming, editing, storytelling, social media content, and creating meaningful health and nutrition-related videos. You will work under the guidance of our Videographer & Content Direction Lead, helping bring MyMealAid’s educational and culturally inclusive nutrition content to life.

About MyMealAid
MyMealAid is a health and nutrition startup focused on making nutrition guidance more accessible, culturally inclusive, and practical for everyday users. We are building resources and tools that support people with healthier eating, nutrient deficiencies, preventive health, grocery planning, and culturally relevant meals.
Responsibilities
As a Volunteer Video Editor & Videographer, you may help with:
- Editing short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Supporting filming for educational nutrition content, founder videos, interviews, and community-style videos
- Assisting with video concepts, transitions, captions, pacing, and visual storytelling
- Helping organize raw footage and content assets
- Working with the Videographer & Content Direction Lead to follow creative direction
- Supporting weekly content creation goals
- Ensuring videos align with MyMealAid’s tone, mission, and audience
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Interested in video editing, videography, content creation, or social media
- Comfortable using editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms
- Creative, reliable, and open to feedback
- Able to work collaboratively with a small startup team
- Passionate about health, food, culture, wellness, education, or social impact
- Comfortable volunteering remotely, with possible in-person filming opportunities depending on location
Nice to Have
- Experience creating TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts, interviews, or educational videos
- Interest in nutrition, public health, food access, cultural foods, or preventive health
- Basic graphic design or social media content experience
- Portfolio, sample edits, or examples of previous video work
Time Commitment
Approximately 3 to 5 hours per week, depending on availability and project needs.
