Role Overview:

You will be responsible for managing sourcing activities, supplier relationships, and procurement strategies in the chemicals and manufacturing sector. Your focus will be on ensuring cost-effective procurement, supply continuity, and optimization of inventory and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sourcing activities, supplier selection, and price negotiations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize inventory and material flow
  • Conduct market analysis and supply chain risk assessment
  • Identify and develop alternate sources of raw materials
  • Manage vendor performance and long-term partnerships
  • Support contract negotiations and sourcing strategy execution
  • Develop MIS reports for cost monitoring and analysis
  • Ensure continuous improvement in cost, quality, and service levels

Qualification Required:

  • 47 years of experience in raw material sourcing
  • Minimum 2+ years in liquid bulk sourcing (petroleum, oil, solvents, fertilizers, etc.)
  • Experience in chemical or manufacturing industry
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Role Overview:
