Come join our team! Mobius is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer

In this role you will utilize your expertise in mission/software assurance, system architecture, and interface design. The selected candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and quality of hardware/software systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and design robust interfaces for seamless integration across MDS platforms. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Duties of a Senior Systems Engineer may include:

Play a key role in advancing the reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical hardware and software systems
Support mission and software assurance activities, including code reviews, static analysis, testing, and engineering reviews, to ensure solutions meet industry standards, program requirements, and best practices.
Help shape scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures; assess objective evidence for hardware and software engineering processes.
Identify and mitigate risks related to quality, security, and performance
Provide trusted technical guidance to program teams across the Missile Defense System environment

Requirements

Extensive experience applying hardware and software engineering processes across complex, mission-critical systems.
Extensive experience supporting hardware and software assurance activities, including quality, reliability, security, and compliance assessments.
Demonstrated ability to assess objective evidence supporting hardware and software engineering decisions, processes, and deliverables.
Strong professional communication, organization, and documentation skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across technical and program teams.
Minimum of 12 years of related professional experience in systems engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, mission assurance, or a closely related technical discipline.
Prior experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency or related missile defense programs.
Knowledge of the Missile Defense System, including major elements, products, interfaces, and operational capabilities.
Working knowledge of Agile engineering practices, including iterative design, development, integration, and test activities.

Education Requirement

Master’s degree in a relevant STEM discipline.

Clearance Requirement

Active Secret security clearance.
