Job Description
As a Senior Lead - Revenue Accounting, your role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Revenue Recognition in line with US GAAP ASC 606 equivalent to IFRS15 and Ind AS 115
- Ensure timely closure of activities related to revenue recognition with utmost accuracy
- Perform Unbilled and Deferred Revenue analysis
- Develop and maintain revenue assurance KPIs, dashboards, and reports
- Implement controls to prevent revenue loss and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Billing, IT, Sales, Finance) to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition
- Verify the Contract / PO documents received from the Customer and maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions
- Independently handle statutory and internal audits for your areas
- Prepare and update accounting memos on revenue streams to ensure compliance with accounting standards
Your skill set should include:
- Self-Motivation
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact with Sales team/leaders/other team members
- Prior experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains), and knowledge in systems such as Salesforce, ERP, MS Office (especially in Excel)
- Ability to track and follow up with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Team player, capable of working with virtual, global teams and limited supervision
- Strong communication and customer service orientation
- Independent and meticulous with figures, with expertise in working on spreadsheets and MS Office
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Revenue Assurance Profile
- Educational Qualification: CA
