About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer / Cloud DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud Connect team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, deploying, automating, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a focus on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, cloud networking, and serverless technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using AWS CDK (must-have) and AWS CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and related DevOps tools.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS services including Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon VPC, and AWS Lambda.
• Design and troubleshoot cloud networking architectures, including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, NAT gateways, DNS, load balancers, and Transit Gateway configurations.
• Automate operational and deployment tasks using Python scripting.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments to ensure reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to implement cloud best practices and governance standards.
• Support cloud migration, modernization, and automation initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including:
• Amazon EC2
• Amazon S3
• Amazon VPC
• AWS Lambda
• Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• AWS CDK (mandatory)
• AWS CloudFormation
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts:
• VPC design and implementation
• Subnets and routing
• NAT gateways
• DNS
• Load balancing
• Transit Gateway
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python.
• Experience with cloud security, monitoring, logging, and operational best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to or working experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Developer) are advantageous.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Multi-cloud architecture experience.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and governance.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks in cloud environments.
