Job Description
As the Purchase Manager at Mirth Resorts & Residences, you will lead the procurement operations across all Mirth properties, ensuring cost efficiency, quality compliance, and timely supply chain management. This role requires strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and meticulous coordination to support seamless resort operations while upholding Mirth’s commitment to excellence and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and Culinary teams to optimize purchasing strategies.
- Supervise and streamline procurement processes across all resort locations.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, cost controls, and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage logistics, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Evaluate vendor performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare purchase forecasts, reports, and cost analyses for management.
- Support the implementation of eco-friendly and sustainable procurement practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or Hotel Administration.
- 5–8 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in hospitality or resort operations.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Sound knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and compliance procedures.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP / procurement software preferred.
