• Job Summary*

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical *QA Test Engineer* with 2 years of experience to join our growing product team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards of our software applications. You will focus on end-to-end functionality, identifying UI/UX inconsistencies, and managing the full bug-reporting lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is someone who views products through the eyes of the user while possessing the technical depth to diagnose underlying issues. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to deliver seamless, bug-free experiences to our clients.

• Key Responsibilities*
• Functional Testing:* Execute manual functional tests to ensure all features and components of the application work according to business requirements and specifications.
• UI/UX Evaluation:* Conduct thorough visual and usability testing to ensure layouts, fonts, colors, and workflows align with design mockups and provide an intuitive user experience.
• Bug Management:* Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps. Provide clear, reproducible steps and prioritize issues based on severity.
• Test Documentation:* Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and checklists tailored to specific project requirements.
• Regression Testing:* Perform re-testing of fixed bugs and conduct regression suites to ensure new updates do not negatively impact existing features.
• Collaboration:* Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups to provide QA estimates and feedback on proposed features.
• Cross-Browser/Device Testing:* Verify application performance and display across various browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) and mobile devices.

• Required Qualifications*
• Experience:* Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Testing Skills:* Strong proficiency in Manual Testing, specifically Functionality and Regression testing.
• Design Sensibility:* A keen eye for UI/UX detail and the ability to identify alignment, padding, and navigation issues.
• Technical Writing:* Excellent ability to write clear, concise bug reports and technical documentation.
• Analytical Thinking:* Strong problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to identifying root causes of software failures.
• Communication:* Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
