The Assistant Superintendent plays a key role in delivering large-scale construction projects across multifamily, student housing, and mixed-use markets. This position offers hands-on leadership exposure on complex builds while working alongside experienced field teams.

The company is deeply involved from concept through completion, fostering collaboration between preconstruction and field operations. The Assistant Superintendent will join a respected field leadership team focused on quality, safety, and schedule certainty, with clear growth pathways into senior site leadership roles.

Description

The Assistant Superintendent will support the day-to-day execution of large-scale construction projects, working closely with the Superintendent and project team. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with on-site supervision of subcontractors and trades
• Supporting project schedules, logistics planning, and daily work sequencing
• Monitoring safety compliance and enforcing site safety standards
• Coordinating inspections, punch lists, and quality control activities
• Tracking progress against milestones and assisting with issue resolution
• Collaborating with the Superintendent to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget

The Assistant Superintendent will gain exposure to complex builds valued between $60M and $200M+.

Profile

• 3+ years of experience with a general contractor
• Project experience worth $50M within relevant markets (multifamily, student housing, mixed-use, etc.)
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site logistics
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in the field
• Motivated to grow into a Superintendent role over time

Job Offer

• Base salary up to $130,000, depending on experience
