Job Description
As a System Engineer at Medpace, you will play a crucial role in the Infrastructure Enterprise Applications Team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Traditional Windows Server administration
- Designing and implementing system solutions for Vendors, Developers, and Users to deliver enterprise applications
- Evaluating existing systems and providing technical direction to IT support staff
- Coordinating efforts with the IT Security team to resolve security-related vulnerabilities
- Utilizing Load-balancers for both Web Servers and Applications
- Using an IT Service Management System (ServiceNow) to manage and document day-to-day work and project tracking
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration
- Experience with Windows Server OS, Remote Desktop Services/Remote App, Group Policy, File Server, Shares/NTFS Permissioning
- 1+ years of experience in Web Hosting Administration
- Strong desire to learn and grow, with a solid foundation of experience
- Ability to manage multiple servers, applications, and priorities effectively
