Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Cashier in our client's outpatient pharmacy, you are the face of the service, ensuring a compassionate, efficient, and helpful experience for patients dealing with health challenges. Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to ensure seamless and accurate transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly, confirm identity according to HIPAA regulations, and locate completed prescriptions for pickup.
• Process cash, credit card, and FSA/HSA transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding copayments and basic insurance requirements.
• Direct patients to the Pharmacist for required consultations or clinical questions.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area stocked with essential supplies.
• Assist in restocking over-the-counter medications and maintaining front-end displays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong customer service background.
• Preferred: Bilingual Spanish.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
