As a Data Scientist at McAfee, your role involves expanding the Data Science and Analytics team within the Consumer Marketing organization. Your primary focus will be on building data tools, supporting experimentation, developing predictive models, and deriving data-driven insights to cater to the needs of a direct-to-consumer marketing organization that serves 400 million customers globally. - *Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and automate data tools and dashboards for monitoring metrics in a scalable self-service manner.
- Implement data hygiene, standardization, and transformation processes to optimize data processes.
- Collaborate with Marketing specialists to devise creative solutions and tools to support experimentation.
- Build well-managed data solutions and capabilities that enable self-service frameworks for data consumers.
- Validate metrics definitions continuously and identify the need for new metrics to facilitate effective business measurement.
- Identify automation opportunities for reports, dashboards, and tools, and conduct data analysis to convert analytical findings into customer insights that drive marketing strategies and programs across the end-to-end customer journey.
- *Qualifications Required:**
- Master's or bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related fields preferred.
- 5 years of progressive experience in a data analyst role, including data mining, transformation, and insights delivery.
- 5 years of programming experience with SQL, Python, or R for data exploration and transformation within a relational database environment.
- 3 years of experience in statistical testing (frequentist A/B testing, Bayesian A/B testing, or multivariate testing) and experiment design.
- 3 years of expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, R Shiny, D3.js, etc.
