Job Description

**Overview:**

We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software programs using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. This is an entry-level position that requires a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, software development life cycle (SDLC), and technical skills. **Responsibilities:**

Design systems and programs to meet complex business needs
Code, test, debug, implement, and document moderately complex software programs
Prepare detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded
Ensure that programs meet standards and technical specifications and perform technical analysis and component delivery
Analyze and gather information from existing systems
Explore new technologies and design approaches to address business requirements
Create working software programs with clear and succinct code documentation
Fix defects in home-grown applications or third-party software
Create scripts to create and modify database objects
Participate in SDLC activities such as solution design, work effort estimation, and code reviews
Understand business processes and develop test scenarios in accordance with system requirements and business process changes
Perform production support activities such as monitoring system processes and evaluating the outcome of system processes
*Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
0-3 years of relevant professional experience
Knowledge in Object-Oriented (OO) Programming and OO programming languages
Understanding of data organization concepts and familiarity with RDBMS
Understanding of SDLC such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc. * Knowledge of information systems design principles and current/emerging trends in this field
Strong ability to think logically and structurally and have attention to detail
Strong Analytical skills and strong Communications skills, both written and verbal
