Associate Software Engineer - Java, Spring Boot, AWS

**Overview:**

We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software programs using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. This is an entry-level position that requires a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, software development life cycle (SDLC), and technical skills. **Responsibilities:**

• Design systems and programs to meet complex business needs
• Code, test, debug, implement, and document moderately complex software programs
• Prepare detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded
• Ensure that programs meet standards and technical specifications and perform technical analysis and component delivery
• Analyze and gather information from existing systems
• Explore new technologies and design approaches to address business requirements
• Create working software programs with clear and succinct code documentation
• Fix defects in home-grown applications or third-party software
• Create scripts to create and modify database objects
• Participate in SDLC activities such as solution design, work effort estimation, and code reviews
• Understand business processes and develop test scenarios in accordance with system requirements and business process changes
• Perform production support activities such as monitoring system processes and evaluating the outcome of system processes
• *Qualifications:**
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
• 0-3 years of relevant professional experience
• Knowledge in Object-Oriented (OO) Programming and OO programming languages
• Understanding of data organization concepts and familiarity with RDBMS
• Understanding of SDLC such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc. * Knowledge of information systems design principles and current/emerging trends in this field
• Strong ability to think logically and structurally and have attention to detail
• Strong Analytical skills and strong Communications skills, both written and verbal
