Job Description – Senior Advocate (Legal, RERA & Compliance)

Role Objective
To act as the principal legal authority for Mauli Infra, independently managing all legal, regulatory, compliance, and litigation matters across ongoing and future real estate projects, ensuring statutory adherence, effective dispute resolution, risk mitigation, and protection of the company’s commercial and reputational interests.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as the chief legal advisor to the Directors and senior management of Mauli Infra on all legal, regulatory, risk-related, and litigation matters.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks at all stages of real estate projects including land acquisition, development, construction, sales, and handover.
- Draft, vet, review, and finalize all legal documentation such as internal agreements, MOUs, landowner agreements, joint development agreements, sale deeds, lease deeds, and addendums.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize contractor, subcontractor, consultant, architect, and vendor agreements, ensuring clarity on scope, timelines, liabilities, penalties, indemnities, and dispute resolution.
- Independently handle, manage, and strategize all litigation matters (civil, consumer, and regulatory) involving Mauli Infra.
- Represent the company or coordinate with external advocates (if any) before courts, tribunals, RERA authorities, and other statutory bodies, ensuring timely filings, strong representation, and effective case management.
- Develop litigation strategies, review pleadings, and ensure proper documentation, evidence management, and follow-ups for all ongoing cases.
- Oversee complete RERA compliance for all ongoing and upcoming projects, including registrations, disclosures, filings, notices, complaints, and hearings.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable real estate, property, contract, labor, environmental, and corporate laws.
- Manage disputes with customers, landowners, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders through negotiations, settlements, arbitration, mediation, or litigation as required.
- Advise management on legal structuring and documentation for future projects and expansions, ensuring preventive legal safeguards and minimizing litigation exposure.
- Maintain proper legal records, agreement repositories, litigation trackers, and submit periodic legal and litigation status reports to the Directors.
Candidate Requirement (Litigation Focus)
- Must have substantial experience in handling litigation matters, including court appearances, drafting pleadings, and case strategy.
- Should demonstrate a strong interest and inclination towards litigation, dispute resolution, and courtroom practice.
- Experience in real estate and RERA-related litigation will be preferred.
Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
