Bookkeeper with Technical & Inventory Skills

Job description

Are you a detail-oriented bookkeeper with additional skills in inventory, purchasing, or technical product support? We’re looking for a versatile team member to join our company, based in Shawnigan Lake, BC.

About the Role

While this position is rooted in bookkeeping, we are especially interested in candidates who also bring:

• Experience with QuickBooks (or similar)
• Skills in inventory management
• Basic purchasing and procurement experience
• Familiarity or interest in technical product data (training will be provided)

You’ll play a key role in supporting our internal operations, financial records, and product support activities.

Please note: Due to our location in Shawnigan Lake, BC, having a reliable car is essential. We also encourage candidates to consider the commute and local housing availability before applying.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting assistant, or similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software (especially QuickBooks)
• Knowledge of Canadian bookkeeping/taxation standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and in a small team
• Experience with inventory or product support is a strong asset

• Annual salary: $40,000.00–$45,000.00, depending on experience
