Fleet Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of company vehicles. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient vehicle utilization, cost control, compliance with regulations, and smooth coordination of driver schedules and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of company vehicles (Cabs)
• Manage driver schedules, shift allocation, and cab assignments to ensure timely and efficient operations
• Plan and optimize routes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules
• Ensure timely servicing, repairs, and vehicle availability
• Maintain records including insurance, registration, and permits
• Track driver performance, safety practices, and adherence to policies
• Coordinate vehicle procurement, leasing, and disposal
• Ensure compliance with local transport and safety regulations
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve fleet efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in fleet/transport management
• Proven experience in fleet operations, transportation, or logistics
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in MS Excel or fleet management tools
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience in handling cab and shift management
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems or fleet software

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
