SAP IBP Functional Consultant - Remote

Main Sail LLC is looking for an SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) consultant for a Greenfield implementation of a new S/4HANA environment. The consultant should have knowledge of S/4HANA Advanced Available-to-Promise and experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Demand Planning and Forecasting: Purchasing or Stock Redistribution
• Inventory Optimization
• Available-to-Promise
• Backorder Processing

Responsibilities include:

• Gather requirements during workshops and/or from written business process documents.
• Design standard out-of-the-box (OOTB) solutions to meet defined requirements.
• Propose business processes changes to avoid heavy customization.
• Develop, write, and execute test scripts.
• Demonstrate solutions to leadership and clients.
• Work with other functional areas to ensure full end-to-end business processing (ex. Inventory receipts, financial postings for planning run PRs).

Mandatory Experience:

• 7+ years SAP IBP Implementation experience.
• Greenfield Implementation experience.
• Requirements gathering/documentation.
• Business process mapping.
• SAP IBP integration with S/4HANA.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4 SD, MM, or Planning experience.
• Relevant SAP S/4HANA certifications.

Location: Remote with potential travel to client’s site for workshops.

Period of Performance: Anticipated start in April 2025 with target MVP deployment in March 2027. Expect the client to have contract options for execution of subsequent years.
