Job Description
As an Automation Test Engineer, your role will involve designing and executing tests on complete automation systems. You will be responsible for testing motion and robotics-related function blocks in PLC code before release to the market. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, designing PLC programs, and writing/executing system tests. It is important for you to follow the required test processes as defined by your Lead/Manager.

Qualifications Required:
- PLC Programming in Ladder/Structured Text/Function Blocks.
- Configuring and commissioning Servo Drives, VFDs & Inverters.
- Motion Control Programming in PLC for servo drives.
- Robotic (Drive Groups, Multi-Axes) programming in PLC.
- Design and commissioning experience for machine automation and turnkey projects, including FAT/SAT.
- Hands-on experience with one or more Fieldbus technologies (Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, Ethernet PowerLINK, CAN, PROFIBUS, ControlNET, DeviceNET).
- Configuring PLC Backplane I/Os and Remote I/Os on Fieldbus.
Desirable Skills:
- Electrical wiring design for control panels.
- Experience in manual testing.
