SAP Data Management (DM) Consultant

Main Sail LLC is looking for an SAP Data Management (DM) consultant for the implementation of a new S/4HANA environment.

The consultant should have knowledge of S/4HANA Data Management and experience with:

• Business objects across multiple functional areas (SD, MM, FI, WM, etc.)
• Relationships between master and transactional data.
• Identifying defects or areas of improvement for data quality.
• Developing data migration strategies and plans.
• Identifying risks to project plans, schedules, and quality.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop, write, and execute test scripts.
• Develop data mapping between source and target systems.
• Maintain relevant documentation.
• Perform ETL activities from ECC to S/4.
• Work with functional areas to migrate data for those processes.
• Provide deployment and post-deployment support.

Mandatory Experience:

• SAP S/4HANA data migration from ECC.
• Use of standard SAP tools to support S/4 migrations such as Data Migration Cockpit and Migration Object Modeler.
• 8+ years SAP DM experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant SAP S/4HANA certifications.
• Experience with SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server.
• Knowledge of industry tools for S/4 migrations.

Location: Remote with potential travel to client’s site for workshops.

Period of Performance: Anticipated start in April 2026 with target MVP deployment in March 2027. Expect the client to have contract options for execution of subsequent years.
