Position Details

Senior Associate, Market Research & Insights

Your research won’t just sit in a report, it will drive real business decisions and directly improve client experiences across IGM.

At IGM, we champion data-driven, fact-based decision-making. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Senior Associate to join our Market Research & Insights team.

In this role, you will be the engine behind our research projects, transforming raw feedback from clients and advisors into clear, actionable stories that help our business partners drive meaningful experience improvements for our clients and advisors.

This is a hands-on role for a researcher who values the entire lifecycle, pairing a passion for discovery with the accountability of ensuring feedback leads to better experiences.

What will you do?

  • Own survey design and execution in Qualtrics from programming through deployment and data collection, ensuring technical accuracy and quality at every step.
  • Transform complex data into compelling stories that drive executive action, using both quantitative analysis and qualitative insights to uncover trends that matter.
  • Drive actionable CX by routing critical client feedback to the right teams for immediate action, ensuring we don’t just measure the experience, we actively improve it!
  • Leverage a variety AI-powered tools to accelerate insights while maintaining quality through rigorous validation and adherence to IGM’s data governance and ethical standards.
  • Build real-time Qualtrics dashboards that give business partners instant access to key performance indicators (KPIs) and stakeholder sentiment, making data accessible and actionable.
  • Act as the technical go-to for Qualtrics, providing troubleshooting, best practices, and platform administration as a Brand Administrator.
  • Safeguard client and advisor data through rigorous adherence to privacy regulations and ethical research standards at every stage, from sampling to data storage.

  • Stay informed on market trends and industry developments to strengthen research narratives and provide relevant context.

What will you need to succeed?

Required Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or related field with 4+ years of hands-on market research experience (from survey programming through to final reporting).
  • Platform expertise: Demonstrated experience with Qualtrics or similar enterprise research platforms, including survey programming, logic configuration, and dashboard creation.
  • Data storytelling: Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and executive-ready presentations.
  • Collaboration & attention to detail: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
  • Advanced technical skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint (data visualization, executive presentations).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Voice of the Customer (VOC) experience: Understanding of how feedback programs work and how to move from insight to operational improvement.
  • AI proficiency: Experience using AI-powered tools in research workflows, with critical thinking skills to validate outputs and ensure accuracy.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is 65,500 - 91,000, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location.
