Position: Factory Manager / Technical Head – Distribution Transformer Manufacturing & Repair Unit

We are planning to set up a Distribution Transformer Manufacturing and Repair Unit near Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and are looking for an experienced professional who has already worked in the transformer industry and has practical experience in running such a factory.

The proposed unit will focus on manufacturing and repairing distribution transformers up to 10 MVA and up to 33 kV voltage class, including transformers used in distribution networks, solar projects, industrial applications, low voltage and medium voltage systems.

Key Requirements:

The candidate should have:

· Minimum 10–15 years of experience in distribution transformer manufacturing and/or repair work.

· Experience in transformers up to 10 MVA / 33 kV class.

· Practical knowledge of transformer design, manufacturing process, testing, repair, winding, assembly, oil filling, drying, and quality control.

· Experience in running or managing a transformer factory/workshop.

· Understanding of both technical and commercial aspects of transformer business.

· Knowledge of materials, vendor coordination, production planning, manpower management, testing standards, and dispatch procedures.

· Ability to guide the company in setting up the plant, selecting machinery, developing systems, and building a capable team.

· Preference will be given to candidates who have independently handled factory operations or worked in a senior role in a reputed transformer company.

Role Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting in setting up the transformer manufacturing and repair unit.
• Planning machinery, manpower, production process, and testing facilities.
• Managing manufacturing and repair operations for transformers up to 10 MVA / 33 kV.
• Ensuring quality control, testing, documentation, and timely delivery.
• Handling technical issues related to design, repair, failure analysis, and production.
• Coordinating with customers, vendors, testing teams, and commercial teams.
• Supporting business development and future capacity expansion.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
