Position: Factory Manager – Fabrication Unit

Location: Near Durg/Dushhera, around 20–25 km from Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Industry: Fabrication / Structural Steel / Mechanical Manufacturing

Education Qualification: BE Mechanical

Experience: Minimum 10 years

We are setting up a new fabrication unit near Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to lead and manage the plant operations.

The proposed fabrication unit will initially have a production capacity of approximately 300 MT per month, with plans to scale up substantially within the next one year, subject to availability of skilled manpower, proper systems, and business growth.

The candidate should have strong technical and operational experience in structural fabrication work, particularly for distribution and transmission projects, solar projects, and OHE works for railway projects, preferably from reputed companies such as L&T, Jyoti Structures, or other established fabrication / engineering / mechanical manufacturing companies.

Key Requirements:

The candidate should have:

· Minimum 10 years of experience in fabrication / structural steel / mechanical engineering / manufacturing operations.

· Relevant field experience in structural fabrication for distribution and transmission projects, solar projects, and OHE works of railway projects will be preferred.

· Experience in running or managing a fabrication workshop or factory.

· Ability to understand engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications.

· Knowledge of machinery planning, production planning, manpower deployment, quality control, and plant operations.

· Experience in handling skilled manpower, supervisors, welders, fitters, and production teams.

· Good understanding of productivity, cost control, material handling, and production targets.

· Ability to help set up systems for a new factory from the initial stage.

· Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in reputed fabrication or engineering companies.

Role Responsibilities:

• Setting up and managing day-to-day factory operations.
• Planning monthly production as per available capacity.
• Supervising fabrication, welding, cutting, assembly, and dispatch activities.
• Coordinating with design/drawing, procurement, quality, and commercial teams.
• Ensuring timely completion of fabrication works as per drawings and specifications.
• Developing skilled manpower and improving productivity.
• Supporting future expansion of the unit.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
