Job Title: Facade Project Manager - New ConstructionLocation:Washington DcEmployment Type:Full-TimeIndustry:Construction / Building Envelope / Facade SystemsJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Facade Project Manager to lead and deliver facade scopes on large-scale new construction projects. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of facade delivery-from preconstruction through installation and close-out-ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.This role requires strong technical knowledge of building envelope systems, excellent stakeholder management skills, and proven experience coordinating facade works on complex construction projects.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & DeliveryManage all phases of facade works on new construction projects, including curtain wall, window wall, cladding, rainscreen, stone, metal panels, and glazing systemsDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans specific to facade scopesOversee procurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation of facade systemsCoordinate facade activities with general contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teamsTechnical & Design CoordinationReview and manage facade shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIsCollaborate with architects, engineers, and facade consultants to resolve design and constructability issuesEnsure compliance with project specifications, building codes, performance requirements, and safety standardsCost & Commercial ManagementPrepare and manage facade budgets, cost forecasts, and change ordersNegotiate contracts and manage relationships with facade subcontractors and suppliersTrack progress billing, payment applications, and cost controlsQuality & SafetyImplement quality assurance and quality control procedures for facade worksConduct site inspections to ensure installation meets design intent and performance criteriaEnsure compliance with site safety requirements and company safety policiesClient & Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for facade-related mattersProvide regular project updates to clients and senior managementProactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategiesQualificationsRequired5+ years of experience managing facade or building envelope projects on new construction developmentsStrong knowledge of facade systems, materials, and installation methodsProven experience working on mid- to large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use projectsAbility to read and interpret architectural and structural drawingsStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsPreferredDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related fieldExperience with high-rise or complex facade projectsFamiliarity with contract administration and project management softwareRelevant certifications (PMP, CIOB, or similar) a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work on high-profile new construction projectsCareer growth within a respected construction or facade specialist organization
