In this position, responsibilities include the handling, dispatching, and testing of specimens, along with performing ECGs. You'll ensure valuable patient experiences through effective wait time management. Candidates must complete a Medical Laboratory Assistant program and have prior phlebotomy experience.

• Handle and test clinical specimens with precision
• Conduct ECG tests for registered patients
• Monitor and manage patient wait times efficiently
• Dispatch specimens for testing and results
• Deliver excellent client service in the laboratory

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program
• Required: previous phlebotomy experience
• ECG certification needed prior to starting
• Preferred: at least 2 years of recent experience
• Criminal record check and/or Vulnerable Sector Search needed
