DevOps Engineer with GCP (Senior)

As a GCP-qualified cloud engineer working for a large global investment bank, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the FIC (fixed income and currencies) cloud migrations under Project Cirrus. Your knowledge of Financial Services/FIC would be beneficial, but the essential skills required include expertise in building, migrating, and deploying applications to GCP, Terraform module coding, Google infrastructure, and familiarity with cloud-native services such as GCE, GKE, CloudSQL/Postgres, logging, and monitoring. • 9 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD automation.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (GKE, IAM, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for IaC and cloud automation.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes (Helm, Ingress, RBAC, Operators, etc.).
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows.
• Experience in scripting Python and Bash.
• Knowledge of Java applications and their deployment in cloud-native environments.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and performance optimization in cloud and Kubernetes.
• Excellent troubleshooting, scripting (Bash/Python), and automation skills.
