Responsibilities

• Ensure that road safety remains a primary concern when operating large trailers.
• Perform careful pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ascertain that the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Devise efficient shipment routes to optimize delivery processes and ensure punctual arrivals.
• Observe protocols for the safe handling and packaging of goods to ensure their secure transportation.
• Continually engage in clear communication with dispatchers and customers to facilitate smooth deliveries.
• Accurately track hours worked and standard maintenance for vehicles.
• Adhere to the safety procedures enforced by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to ensure the safety of both workers and the cargo being transported
• Rapidly inform authorities of any vehicle difficulties, incidents, or breaches to sustain compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Validity of a commercial driver license at the Class A grade.
• Sustaining a flawless driving history. Meeting all requirements for DOT physical evaluations and drug screenings.
• The ability to manage time effectively and coordinate tasks efficiently.
• Specialized knowledge in securely and efficiently transporting hefty and large items.
• Displaying exceptional customer service skills and a talent for creating long-term client bonds.
• Emphasizing a commitment to safety measures and regulatory adherence, particularly by promptly reporting incidents as required.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• A 12-week curriculum strategically designed to accelerate the learning journey, suitable for participants with diverse experience levels starting from three months and exceeding five years

Preferred Experience:

• Adeptness in managing different trailer kinds, such as dry van, reefer, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Skill in managing dual or triple cargo, combining intermodal transportation, and shipping vehicles.
• Familiarity with the handling of household possessions and unique cargo.
