Job Description – Senior Software Test Automation Engineer

Location: Infopark, Kochi

Experience: 10+ Years

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to lead automation-first quality engineering across our AI-native platforms. You will design scalable automation frameworks, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high-quality releases through UI, API, backend, performance, and AI validation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build automation frameworks using Playwright and Cucumber.
Develop UI, API, backend, and regression automation.
Integrate automated testing into Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Perform SQL-based backend validations.
Validate AI/LLM functionality, guardrails, prompt injection, and response quality.
Execute performance, scalability, and reliability testing.
Track automation coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness.
Collaborate with Engineering, AI, and DevOps teams to improve product quality.

Required Skills

10+ years of experience in Software Testing / SDET / QA Automation.
Strong experience with Playwright, Cucumber, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python.
Hands-on experience in API automation, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of performance testing and quality engineering practices.
Experience testing AI-powered or SaaS applications is a plus.

Preferred

Experience with AI/LLM platforms, multi-tenant SaaS, HRMS/ATS/ERP products, and Responsible AI testing.
