The Qualifications We Seek

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 5, and JavaScript (including jQuery)
• Ability to work within or extend existing framework-based frontends
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular (plus)

Your Daily Tasks

UI Development & Implementation

• Build and implement user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within WordPress and custom CMS platforms
• Translate design mockups, wireframes, and requirements into responsive, accessible front-end code (Figma knowledge required)
• Develop and maintain UI components using CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following best practices
• Implement interactive behaviors using JavaScript and jQuery

Accessibility & Standards

• Apply semantic HTML and ARIA standards during development
• Support ADA and WCAG accessibility standards
• Implement SEO-friendly markup including Schema.org structured data

CMS & Integration Support

• Assist with integrating HTML/CSS layouts into CMS-driven templates using PHP
• Support WordPress maintenance including themes, plugins, and compatibility checks

Performance & QA

• Assist with front-end performance optimizations
• Perform browser and device testing across desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior
• Conduct QA checks and proactively identify UI and functionality bugs
• Debug and resolve front-end issues
• Make updates without disrupting existing functionality

Collaboration & Workflow

• Assist with support requests and ongoing website maintenance
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers
• Follow established coding standards and naming conventions
• Work within Git-based version control systems
• Learn and adapt to new tools and frameworks as required
