As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for this contract opportunity, your role will involve designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and high availability. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Configuring and managing Azure networking services such as Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints, VPN Gateway, and ExpressRoute.
- Supporting secure connectivity between IT and OT environments for integration between on-premises/edge OT systems and Azure cloud environments.
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform for automated Azure resource provisioning.
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for automated infrastructure and application deployments.
- Implementing Azure security best practices including Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), RBAC, Key Vault, Azure Policy, and Defender for Cloud.
- Supporting hybrid and edge deployments with services like Azure Arc, site-to-site VPN, and ExpressRoute.
- Monitoring and managing Azure environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to ensure operational stability and performance.
- Collaborating with cloud governance, security, and network teams to implement Azure architecture standards and compliance controls.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, and DevOps pipelines across hybrid IT/OT environments.
