Job Description
We are a retail wireless company with branches within the GTA. We are currently to welcome a full-time bookkeeper into our team. The right candidate is highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
· Using Newviews and RQ iQmetrix to manage day to day bookkeeping
· Manage all day-to-day financial transactions
· Independently control and report on the general ledger
· Prepare and record journal entries
· Receive and handle input documents such as invoices, data entry
· Monitor and manage accounts payable, expenses
· Process EFT payments and ensure accuracy
· Bank account management, deposit
· Reconcile Inventory, monthly bank statement and various accounts
· Preparation of various reports and government filings such as HST, EHT, WSIB
· Year-end documentation for accountant
· Other tasks of an administrative as determined by controller
Background/Qualifications:
· Minimum 3+ years of experience in a related position
· College diploma in accounting
· Strong computer skills, including full capabilities in Excel
· Ability to prioritize with the flexibility to manage various workload demands
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
