Position Title: Part - Time Special Educator (Once in a week)

Location: Wardha Road,Nagpur

Reports To: Principal / Head of Inclusion

Role Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and qualified Special Educator to support students with diverse learning needs. The candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that helps every child achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify students with learning difficulties and special educational needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Provide one-on-one and small-group support sessions.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Conduct assessments and maintain student progress records.
• Support students in improving academic, behavioral, and social skills.
• Work closely with parents and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Coordinate with counselors, therapists, and external professionals when required.
• Ensure inclusive classroom practices across the school.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Special Education or relevant field.
• B.Ed. in Special Education preferred.
• RCI certification preferred (for Indian curriculum schools).
• Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and learning disabilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience as a Special Educator in a school setup preferred.
• Experience working with diverse learning needs including ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, and other learning challenges is an advantage.
