Description

OBJECTIVE:

The Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains software applications that support Kids Empire's operations and enhance the customer experience. This role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient technology solutions

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service to develop business solutions.
Maintain and improve POS systems, payment integrations, and eCommerce tools.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and compliant with data privacy standards.
Recommend technology improvements and support ongoing system enhancements.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
Experience with web frameworks (React, .NET, Angular, Node.js, etc.).
Knowledge of SQL databases, REST APIs, and Git.
Understanding of Agile development and software development life cycle (SDLC).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is preferred.
Thrives in cross-functional settings, comfortable with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Eager to own impactful projects and work closely with leadership
Values clarity, consistency, and having full ownership of key data projects
