Our client, Banking & Financial Services industry is seeking an Operational Risk Analyst to join their team. As an Operational Risk Analyst, you will be part of the Risk Management Department supporting senior management and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Operational Risk Analyst
Location: New York, New York, with remote work options available
Pay Range: $80/HR
What's the Job?
- Support the development and implementation of the enterprise risk management framework within the bank
- Conduct regular risk assessments and analyze data to identify potential operational risks
- Assist in monitoring key risk indicators (KRIs) and prepare detailed risk reports for leadership
- Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards
- Contribute to the enhancement of risk mitigation strategies and control processes
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Experience in risk management within banking or financial services preferred
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as Basel III and Dodd-Frank Act
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
