We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee financial record-keeping and manage daily office operations. This role requires a strong background in accounting and proficiency with various accounting software. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain efficient office procedures, and support the overall administrative functions of our organization. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Reconcile bank statements and perform account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Conduct regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and document management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all financial activities
Experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or office management roles
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll processing, and financial reporting
- Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis is highly desirable
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
