A fast-growing, globally backed beauty and cosmetics business is expanding its footprint across Canada and is seeking an Account Executive – National Accounts to support this growth. With a strong presence in fragrance, skincare, and cosmetics, the organization is rapidly building partnerships across major retail and pharmacy channels. Description
National Account Management
- Manage and grow key national retail accounts across Canada, including major pharmacy and mass retail partners
- Own the full account lifecycle: from onboarding and contracts through to execution and growth
Business Development & Program Building
- Identify and secure new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
- Build and execute account-specific programs to drive sell-through and brand visibility
Retail Execution & Merchandising
- Partner with buyers to negotiate listings, promotions, and merchandising plans
- Support planogram development and in-store execution to maximize performance
Market Intelligence & Field Engagement
- Conduct store visits and market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights
- Maintain strong relationships with retail partners through regular communication and in-person engagement
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with internal teams to align on strategy, inventory, and marketing initiatives
- Develop presentations and reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
- Monitor KPIs and adapt strategies to meet evolving business needs
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in account management or sales within beauty, cosmetics, or CPG
- Proven experience working with major Canadian retailers (e.g., pharmacy, mass, or grocery channels)
- Background in skincare, cosmetics, or fragrance strongly preferred
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Highly adaptable with the ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who can operate independently with minimal supervision
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
Corporate Culture
- Salary range: $65,000 – $75,000
- 3 weeks vacation (flexible) + 6 personal days
